I've never been one to box myself in artistically. As a child actor I was exposed at an early age to be adventurous and learn all I could about the craft of making theater and art. As an adult, I've learned so much about what it means to be a human being through the characters I've embodied and the plays I've directed. Theater is a learning ground.

I've had the pleasure of working with incredibly talented people over the past four decades. I've learned from the best. As a staff member at The Guthrie I watched and learned from some of the most talented artists in the world.

I am a certified Consent Forward Artist through Intimacy Directors and Coordinators and I hold that training at the heart of everything I do. As  a Director I hold a consent forward space~ What that means is everyone has a voice. Everyone matters, from the actor to the stage hand to the usher. My job is to get everyone to a place of "yes." Emotional and physical safety are at the core of my work.
